What is a Lease Plan?
It is a scaled Plan that consists of the Location and Floor Plan to help identify the location on the map and the demise within a property. In other words, a scaled Plan depicting exactly what area of land and property is included in the lease.
Why do I need a Lease Plan?
Any new lease lasting seven years or longer must be registered with the Land Registry and have a lease plan.
Transfers and leases will need to be accompanied by a plan showing and identifying the property and land being transferred or leased.
