Why is it required?
It is a legal requirement to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) when a building is sold, rented or constructed.
What is EPC?
Just like the multi-colored sticker you have seen on new appliances, EPCs tell you how energy efficient a building is and give it a rating from A (very efficient) to G (inefficient).
